Training

Litter Hunting

Litter training – recommended for litter from a minimum of 6 months old and up to 8 months in spring and summer.

At our training centre, the litter will come into contact with quail, rabbits and wild partridges.

He will get used to the sound of shotguns and play games that help him develop his natural instincts and passion for work with game.

More advanced training – recommended for an 18 month old dog.

Working and training in a hunting environment, the dog will learn how to adapt to these conditions, coming into contact with wild game birds, particularly large numbers of partridges. He will learn the behaviour of game.

The dog must be in good physical condition to do this training that will take place in autumn and winter.

Training and Showing/Competition

Our Centre has been specially built and our training facilities developed to bring dogs up to show standard.

When a dog arrives at the Centre he will have his own comfortable kennel adjoining a 200 m2 enclosure where he is free to run day and night.

This life bears no comparison with dogs kept in kennels for 23 out of every 24 hours that can be found at some other establishments.

At La Ventosilla, this freedom the dog has prepares the pads, develops fitness and well-being giving a happy and contented dog.
